A Manager I’ll Always Be Grateful For ❤️
Being a corporate employee in IT recruitment and talent acquisition, I have often heard people share stories about managers who make their work life difficult, put them under unnecessary pressure, or even misbehave with them. But I consider myself lucky because my experience was very different.
After having my baby, I joined a company where Mr. Amit was my reporting manager. He was the one who interviewed me, and after I joined, I started working under him. From the beginning, I really appreciated the way he managed work, assigned tasks, and helped me understand things. He was always supportive, whether it was about work, learning new things, or improving my technical and non-technical skills. But what made him truly special was his understanding of my personal situation.
Since my baby was still very small, there were times when I needed to leave early, take my baby to the hospital during an emergency, or work from home because of certain situations. And whenever I needed support, he was always understanding and helpful. He never made me feel guilty about being a mother or made me feel that my personal responsibilities were a burden.
Instead, he supported me in balancing both my professional and personal life.
What I appreciated most was that, beyond being a manager, he understood me as a person. Being a family man himself, he could understand the challenges I was facing as a working mother. He supported me not just professionally but personally as well.
I know not everyone gets to experience this kind of support in their corporate journey, and I feel genuinely blessed that I got the opportunity to work under him.
Amit, if you ever read this, I just want to say thank you for being such a supportive manager and a wonderful human being. I will always be grateful for the support, guidance, and understanding you showed me during that phase of my life.
This is my corporate story, and I truly believe that a good manager can make a world of difference in an employee’s life. Sometimes, all an employee needs is a little understanding, trust, and support. And I’m really thankful that I got that from you. 🙏

Keep it kind. You’re talking to a person.
